PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Therapy

PRP therapy involves preparing platelet-rich plasma (PRP) by collecting a small amount of blood from the patient (similar to taking blood for analysis), which is then processed by centrifugation, a process that separates platelets from other blood cells. This results in platelet-rich plasma, a concentrated cocktail of growth factors, able to significantly influence skin regeneration.

Vampire therapy is indicated for patients who want to rejuvenate the appearance of the skin on the face, neck, décolleté and hands.

This procedure has the following benefits:

  • improves skin quality by stimulating and producing new collagen and elastin fibers
  • reduces wrinkles
  • improves the appearance of post-acne, post-traumatic or post-chickenpox scars
  • diminishes dilated pores
  • balances sebum secretion
  • helps in the treatment of alopecia
  • regenerates hair

Being an integral part of your own blood, platelet-rich plasma is very safe and cannot cause allergic reactions or hypersensitivity.

Treatment is contraindicated in patients with autoimmune and hematological diseases.

The duration of the procedure is about 15-20 minutes, and 2-3 sessions are required every 4 weeks; and 1-2 procedures per year are recommended for maintenance.
